How do you Celebrate the homecoming of your Hero?.
For us its JUST our Family, no big gathering or party
(on my husbands request). he said he doesnt want ANYONE
around but ''his Girls'' for at least a week!. And i can
TOTALLY understand why! But he will be coming home
to a Decorated home, his favorite food and some
little things that i know will make his day!. The first night home
we usually dont do anything but cuddle, watch movies and enjoy
being together again!
he is excited to see what i came up with this time around :)
some ppl think i am over doing the whole ''deco'' thing but
to me My husbands homecoming is THE event of the year!. its the
day i have been waiting for since the second he left!.

Kirk is the same way. He said, he only wants me and Leonie picking him up when he comes home and so i will respect his wishes and i can care less about what others think and if they are upset that we wont have a welcome home party. He just simply doesn't want that. Our home will be decorated as well, i am already designing the door sign, have the banner already, bought a lot if decoration, plates, cups, napkins and i bought a ribbon cake thingy so i will bake a cake and cook his favorite meal and i requested to borrow a helium gas pump or whatever thats called and buy tons of balloons and pump them up, spread some in the living room and some on our balcony. and slowly after that we will see friends and my family as he wants to, but since he has been gone for so long, it will be all he wants for a while lol. You are NOT over doing the decoration!!! Not at all, NOT if HE likes it, don't listen to others that are just too lazy to decorate or spend the money on material or maybe they are not as crafty and simply just can't do what you do lol. i am imagining the whole homecoming thing every night before i fall asleep and i fall asleep with a smile, because it makes me happy and i know it will make hubby happy <3 i hear ppl telling me, i started way to early with all the stuff and i think: so? i DON'T Think so, because it will be out of the way and no stress at the end and i can just relax ( well not really lmao) but then i don't get frustrated if i don't find what i need. To each their own!
